Annealing- Annealing only needs Aluminium 2017 to be subjected to a temperature of about 504 degrees Celsius, followed by quenching in water and following the necessary phases. Age hardening will then be done at room temperature to T4 temperature. Annealing usually takes place at a temperature of about 413 degrees Celsius.

Aging-It is further supported that at room temperature, our aluminium 2017 plates can develop mechanical properties, showing quite considerable age-hardening capabilities.
